School Social Workers

Locations: Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens – NYC
Work Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Compensation: $50+ per hour for 1099 (dependent upon experience)

We’re seeking multiple School Social Workers located in Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens in New York City to make a meaningful impact in NYC schools to provide school-based counseling and support services that help students thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

NOTE: This is for the new school year and will start mid-August 2026.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Conduct assessments and create personalized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and agency team members.
• Address social-emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes.
• Write annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and session documentation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children/adolescents in school or clinical settings (preferred).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State.
